What to Expect
It’s very simple – we’d like you to join us for life aboard.
To sum things up; do as little or as much as you like! Mischief II is setup to be sailed shorthanded so she can be managed by just one person (i.e the skipper) but we know even the most ardent sun-worshippers like to get involved. Endless bits of rope, a myriad of directions to go in and good old physical graft getting those sails trimmed will keep the ‘busy’ TRULY busy.
Our galley is fully equipped to keep even the most discerning guests well fed. Think tasty full English breakfasts, fresh salads for lunch and evening BBQs washed down with at least a few bottles of wine. Prior to your arrival the yacht will be stocked and supplemented and the boat will be fully supplied as to your requirements before setting sail. We will always look to keep stocked up as we go along, who doesn’t like fresh bread in the mornings?
Take the helm or turn a book page while your meals are being prepared or rum drinks are being mixed (painkillers are liberally supplied for the morning after). Life aboard is about our floating home – getting stuck in comes naturally so don’t forget to shout if you’re putting the kettle on and always admit if you have drunk the last beer! Leaving all that washing up just isn’t fair on our fine ship so a little help proves the maxim that a tidy ship is a happy ship – this is our home after-all!
After a day or two you will be considering yourself one of the ‘Mischievous’ as we choose our routes and weigh anchor for another day on the blue. Sit back, relax and open a cold beer to watch the sunset.
We don’t spend all our time racing along under every inch of sail, here’s just a few other things to keep us occupied.
- Plenty of Snorkelling Gear
- Messing around in the tender
- Two man kayak
- Walks (with Frank) and scrambling to get the best views
- The infamous mast swing
- Fishing Rods (only if you catch dinner)
- Old school Nintendo N64 with the classic games
- Board games
- Books and comics
- Advanced navigation and tidal calculation syllabus (only joking)
- We also encourage floating in the turquoise sea at least three times a day.
